The box trap works by luring the possum to put it's head into the teardrop hole in the front of the trap. When it tries to pull on the bait, a spring loaded arm comes up, killing the possum quickly and humanely. The possum trap is reusable and will give years of service. It comes with 2 wire pegs to anchor it to the ground and an instruction sheet. The best baits are fresh fruit - apple, orange or carrot. A sprinkling of curry powder, cinnamon or a few drops of Eucalyptus oil will help to attract possums. Remember to replace bait regularly. |
